Hand has gone a perfect 4-0 against Hamden recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tigers will take on the Dragons at 3:45 p.m. Hand has given up an average of 7.9 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hand fell victim to Trumbull and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 17-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Hamden came up short against Shelton on Wednesday and fell 7-2. The loss continues a trend for the Dragons in their meetings with the Gaels: they've now lost six in a row.

Hand's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hamden, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Everything went Hand's way against Hamden when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Hand made off with a 15-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
