It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Halls can now relate to. They fell 3-0 to the Dobyns-Bennett Indians on Friday. The Red Devils' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Emery Bales spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 24 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Halls saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brianna Smith, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Halls' loss dropped their record down to 32-7-1. As for Dobyns-Bennett, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Halls does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dobyns-Bennett has already played their next contest (against Rossview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
