After a string of 15 wins, Mason's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the Seton Saints, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Comets have suffered since August 20, 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-10.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Grace Jones, who had 15 digs and one assist. Jones has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 13 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Maggie Timmerman, who had eight digs and three aces.

Mason's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Seton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 20-0.

Mason has already played their next match (against Hamilton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Seton, they will challenge Anderson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
