Baseball Recap: West Central Area Comes Up Short

West Central Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 20-4 to the Minnewaska Area Lakers. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 19-0 to the Lakers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

West Central Area's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Minnewaska Area, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lakers beat West Central Area by a score of 11-1 later that day.
