Basketball Recap: Grayling Comes Up Short

Grayling lost against Cheboygan back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Grayling Vikings lost 62-41 to the Cheboygan Chiefs. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grayling's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Cheboygan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Grayling and Cheboygan could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Grayling (ranked 270th) will meet Charlevoix (ranked 125th) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Cheboygan will challenge Elk Rapids at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 175 places (302 vs. 127).
