Baseball Recap: South Central Comes Up Short

South Central fell victim to Madison and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 19-0 to the Cubs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rebels of the 9-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2017.

South Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Madison, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

South Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-6 defeat against Lanesville on the 15th. As for Madison, they have also already played their next game, a 12-2 loss against Floyd Central on the 15th.
