Basketball Recap: Friendly Comes Up Short

Friendly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 47-39 to the Surrattsville Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-51 on Tuesday.

Friendly's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Surrattsville, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-6.

Coming up, Friendly won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Fairmont Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Surrattsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
