Baseball Game Preview: Foxborough Warriors vs. Sharon Eagles

Foxborough is 8-2 against Sharon since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Warriors will face off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Foxborough's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Sharon's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Foxborough will face Sharon after dropping another heartbreaker against Mansfield on Wednesday, which marked the second time in a row the team's come within 2.1 of beating them. The Warriors fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 4-3. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Sharon fell victim to Attleboro and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Bombardiers by a score of 2-0.

Foxborough's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Sharon, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Foxborough took their win against Sharon in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 13-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
