Basketball Recap: Sydney Snyder's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ottawa Hills over Rogers

On Tuesday, the Ottawa Hills Green Bears were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 39-34 to the Rogers Rams. The Green Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Green Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sydney Snyder, who posted six points along with ten rebounds and four blocks. Snyder is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kendell Skiver, who earned 13 points in addition to six steals and five rebounds.

Ottawa Hills' loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Rogers, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

Ottawa Hills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-20 win against Northwood on the 30th. As for Rogers, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 72-11 victory against Waite on the 30th.
