Wachusett Regional won the last time they faced Westborough and things went their way on Monday too. The Mountaineers were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Rangers. Considering the Mountaineers have won five contests by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Wachusett Regional pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Westborough, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Wachusett Regional has already played their next game, a 9-4 win against Leominster on the 13th. Westborough has also already played their next contest (against Shrewsbury), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
