Volleyball Recap: Baldwin Comes Up Short

Baldwin lost against Gardner-Edgerton back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trailblazers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-9.

Gardner-Edgerton found their leader in freshman Bella Garcia, who had eight digs and five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Garcia.

Baldwin's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5-2. As for Gardner-Edgerton, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Baldwin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Wellsville on the 13th. As for Gardner-Edgerton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Eudora on the 13th.
