Volleyball Recap: Lopez Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Darrington, Lopez was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tulalip Heritage Hawks. That's more bragging rights for the Lobos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lopez's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Tulalip Heritage, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lopez will face off against rival Lummi at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Tulalip Heritage is set to square off against their familiar foe Shoreline Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
