Basketball Recap: Pequannock Comes Up Short

After flying high against Parsippany last Wednesday, Pequannock came back down to earth. The Pequannock Golden Panthers fell 69-60 to the Morristown-Beard Crimson on Friday. The Golden Panthers have struggled against the Crimson recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Pequannock's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Morristown-Beard, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pequannock will head out to take on Whippany Park at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Morristown-Beard, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Newton at 7:00 p.m. on February 10th.
