Softball Recap: Ripon Comes Up Short

Ripon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Waupun Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 16-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Ripon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryn Carlson, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Ripon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Waupun, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ripon is set to challenge their familiar foe Plymouth at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Waupun will take on rival Kewaskum at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
