Volleyball Recap: Judge Memorial Catholic Comes Up Short on the Road Against Deseret Peak

Judge Memorial Catholic kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Deseret Peak Golden Eagles.

While Judge Memorial Catholic ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 22-25, 25-21.

Deseret Peak found their leader in sophomore Amelia Cannon, who had 32 assists and one block.

The win got Deseret Peak back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Judge Memorial Catholic will face off against Logan at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Deseret Peak, they will venture away from home to face off against Grantsville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
