Snowflake had won four straight road games and Brenner Green did his part to make it five on Friday. The Lobos put the hurt on the Eastmark Firebirds with a sharp 26-6 win thanks in part to Green, who rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 109.9 rushing yards per game.

Snowflake didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hayydn Nichols and Christian Smith. Nichols got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Snowflake's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Eastmark, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Snowflake will host Mesquite at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lobos will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.88 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Eastmark, they will head out to square off against Arcadia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Firebirds will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
