Volleyball Recap: Frederick Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Frederick duked it out with Dakota Ridge on Friday. The Golden Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Addison Strojinc paced Frederick's offense, picking up four kills. Strojinc were helped by Marisol Tembrock and Ellary Faulkner, who contributed three assists each.

Frederick now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Dakota Ridge, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Frederick wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Grand Junction Central on the 29th. As for Dakota Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Legacy on the 29th.
