Basketball Recap: Isabella Seidl's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Liberty Tree Academy over Monument Academy

Liberty Tree Academy lost against Monument Academy back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Liberty Tree Academy War Eagles received a blow as they fell 44-28 to the Monument Academy Lynx. The War Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Liberty Tree Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Isabella Seidl, who posted seven points along with 17 boards and four steals. Isabella Serna was another key player, putting up 14 points and three steals.

As for Monument Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Battle Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Monument Academy is facing Battle Mountain at the right time seeing as Battle Mountain is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
