Baseball Recap: Kensington Comes Up Short

Kensington dropped their record down to 3-4 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against Mariana Bracetti Academy, falling 9-2. The KENSINGTON TIGER were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mariana Bracetti Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2017.

As for Mariana Bracetti Academy, their record is now 5-2. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by seven runs or more this season.

For Mariana Bracetti Academy's part, Rafael Hernandez was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those three stolen bases gave Hernandez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chrystopher Hernandez, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kensington will face off against Maritime Academy Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mariana Bracetti Academy, they will take on Philadelphia Academy Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
