Soccer Recap: Central Valley Academy Takes a Loss

Central Valley Academy lost against New Hartford back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thunder came up short against the Spartans, falling 7-1. While losing is never fun, Central Valley Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 140th, while New Hartford are ranked third).

Central Valley Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for New Hartford, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Valley Academy will host Holland Patent at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Hartford, they will take on Proctor at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. New Hartford will be up against Proctor's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
