Basketball Game Preview: South Shore International Tars vs. Woodlawn

The South Shore International Tars will head out on the road to square off against Woodlawn at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

South Shore International is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Rickover Naval 66-29 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Tars sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Meanwhile, Woodlawn humbled Victoria Soto with a 91-42 victory. Woodlawn has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

South Shore International's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-13. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 16.7 points per game. As for Woodlawn, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

South Shore International took a serious blow against Woodlawn in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 60-26. Can South Shore International avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
