Softball Recap: Lindsay Lane Christian Academy Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against Randolph School last Tuesday, Lindsay Lane Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Lions fell just short of the Belgreen Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 back in March.

Lily Jackson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Lindsay Lane Christian Academy's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-6-1. As for Belgreen, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lindsay Lane Christian Academy will square off against Lexington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Belgreen, they will challenge Red Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
