Softball Recap: Mulberry Comes Up Short

Mulberry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Magazine Rattlers, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rattlers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 back in March.

Mulberry's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Magazine, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

Coincidentally, Mulberry and Magazine will both be playing Western Yell County the next time they take the field. The Rattlers will head out to face the Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Yellowjackets will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
