After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Collegiate, Benedictine was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Veritas School Lions by a score of 4-2. Benedictine haven't had any issues with Veritas School recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Harrison Efford and Oregon Telfian scored all four of Benedictine's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Benedictine's victory bumped their record up to 8-3-1. As for Veritas School, they dropped their record down to 11-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Benedictine and Veritas School should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. The Cadets (ranked sixth) will meet Fork Union Military Academy (ranked 44th) at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Veritas School will face off against Norfolk Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (10 vs. 41).
