Soccer Game Preview: Mesquite vs. Cedar Hill

The Mesquite Skeeters will face off against the Cedar Hill Longhorns at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Mesquite is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Horn on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars. The loss continues a trend for Mesquite in their meetings with Horn: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cedar Hill). They never let Lancaster get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Thursday. Cedar Hill haven't had any issues with Lancaster recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Mesquite's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Cedar Hill, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-5-2.
