Alvarado's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB eight times. Kennedale's QB won't forget D.J. Clampitt anytime soon given he sacked him three times. Alvarado got some further help from Anthony Frias: he picked up a sack and made eight total tackles (6.0 for loss).

Alvarado was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 328 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kennedale only rushed for 176.

Alvarado's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Eastern Hills, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
