Softball Recap: Lincoln Park Academy Find Success

After losing to Morningside Academy the last time they met, Lincoln Park Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds walked away with an 11-6 win over the Morningside Academy Eagles on Thursday.

Lincoln Park Academy now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Morningside Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-1 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln Park Academy will host Martin County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Martin County has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.17 runs per game on average), something Lincoln Park Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Morningside Academy, they will welcome Master's Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
