Everything went their way against the Farmington Farmers as the Illini West Chargers made off with a 12-3 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Illini West considering their two-run performance the match before.

Carter Chapin made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Chapin has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive pitching appearances. Chapin was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 4-for-5.
