Basketball Recap: Odessa Comes Up Short

Odessa lost to Permian back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bronchos took a 40-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Odessa has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-15 record this season. As for Permian, their win bumped their record up to 28-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Odessa will challenge rival Frenship at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Permian is set to face off against their familiar foe Midland Legacy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
