Century has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Frankfort Redbirds at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Century will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Century's 16-6 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They fell 11-7 to Massac County on Thursday. Century has not had much luck with Massac County recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Allie Sauerbrunn and Hayden Anderson did some serious damage despite the final result: Sauerbrunn went 1-for-4 with three RBI, a triple, and a run, while Anderson scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Anderson is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last three games she's played.
