Volleyball Recap: Lucas Takes a Loss

Lucas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Central Trojans. If the Cubs were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Trojans when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16.

Lucas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for South Central, they moved to 3-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Lucas will take on Crestline at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Hillsdale on the 30th.
