Basketball Recap: Connor Reilly and Sam Drolet Secure Win for North Smithfield

North Smithfield won the last time they faced Hope and things went their way on Wednesday too. The North Smithfield Northmen strolled past the Hope Blue Wave with points to spare, taking the game 68-52.

Leading North Smithfield to victory were Sam Drolet and Connor Reilly. Drolet posted 21 points, while Reilly had 19 points. With that strong performance, Drolet is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Deschene, who scored nine points.

The victory got North Smithfield back to even at 8-8. As for Hope, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

North Smithfield has already played their next matchup (against Times Squared Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hope will welcome Toll Gate at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Toll Gate will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Hope surely won't give up without a fight.
