Lewis County has gone a perfect 5-0 against Waverly Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Lewis County Panthers duke it out with Waverly Central Tigers at 5:00 p.m.

Lewis County took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Waverly Central a 7-0 shutout. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Braylon Bean, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. Kegan Carroll-Clayton also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Waverly Central now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lewis County, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
