Basketball Recap: Austin Classical Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Austin Classical's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 37-23 win over the Heritage Christian Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 32-31 back in December of 2024.

Austin Classical's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.8 points per game. As for Heritage Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Austin Classical has already played their next game, a 37-36 win against Legacy Christian Academy on the 17th. As for Heritage Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cornerstone Christian at 5:00 p.m. on February 1st.
