Lena hadn't done well against Coleman recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Cougars 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Cougars last Friday, they had to take a 5-4 loss.

Lena's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Coleman, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 10-2 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lena will square off against Shiocton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Coleman, they will venture away from home to square off against Southern Door at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
