Butler is a perfect 6-0 against Trotwood-Madison since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Aviators will be taking part in a tournament against the Rams at 5:00 p.m. Neither Butler nor Trotwood-Madison posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Butler is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Ohio's top teams: Archbishop Moeller, who was ranked fourth at the time (Butler was ranked 12th). The Aviators fell just short of the Fighting Crusaders by a score of 4-2 on Saturday. The contest marked the Aviators' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Trotwood-Madison didn't have quite enough to beat Yellow Springs on Friday and fell 3-2. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Trotwood-Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Butler, their loss ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 20-2.

Butler took their victory against Trotwood-Madison in their previous matchup back in April of 2018 by a conclusive 19-3 score. Do the Aviators have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
