Volleyball Game Preview: Westwood Warriors vs. Queen Creek Bulldogs

The Westwood Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Queen Creek Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Queen Creek took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Westwood, who comes in off a win.

Westwood not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 10th (when they won 3-0). They blew past Dobson 3-0.

Westwood walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Queen Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Highland.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-16, 25-16.

Westwood is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Queen Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 9-16.

Westwood beat Queen Creek 2-0 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
