Softball Recap: McCormick Takes a Loss

McCormick couldn't beat Thornwell on Friday even though they stacked six runs on them in the fourth inning. The Chiefs came up short against the Saints, falling 23-7. The defeat continues a trend for the Chiefs in their meetings with the Saints: they've now lost six in a row.

McCormick's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Thornwell, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. McCormick will square off against rival Calhoun Falls Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Thornwell is set to challenge their familiar foe Dixie at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
