Basketball Recap: Adrian Falls Short of New Hope Christian in the Playoffs

Adrian and New Hope Christian squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Adrian had to settle for second. They fell 49-37 to the New Hope Christian Warriors. The Antelopes' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

New Hope Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan Zumhofe out in front who posted 19 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Zumhofe is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Ava Barnett was another key player, putting up 18 points in addition to seven assists and six steals.

Adrian's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for New Hope Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-2.

Adrian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Hope Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 52-31 loss against Jordan Valley on the 28th.
