Baseball Recap: Reardan's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, Reardan finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 16-2 to the Northwest Christian School Crusaders. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Screaming Eagles, who until this contest were averaging 3.6 runs allowed.

Brady Angell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Colton Lonning, who scored a run and stole two bases.

Having lost for the first time this season, Reardan fell to 4-1. As for Northwest Christian School, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

While Reardan had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
