Grand Island Central Catholic wouldn't let Superior keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force four fumbles. Thomas Schneider led the group effort, picking up two of those forced fumbles all by himself.
Centura's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Grand Island Central Catholic, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-1.
Friday's contest might be decided in the on the ground. Centura has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 198.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Grand Island Central Catholic struggles in that department as they've been averaging 163.2. It's looking like Friday's matchup might have some serious battles in the trenches.
