Volleyball Recap: Leyden Eagles vs. Ridgewood Rebels

Leyden waltzed into their game on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They beat the Ridgewood Rebels by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Olivia Prokop, who had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted in her last 11 matches.

Leyden is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-18 record this season. As for Ridgewood, they dropped their record down to 11-21 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
