Midtown is 8-2 against Decatur since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Knights will venture away from home to square off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Midtown took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Whitewater, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wildcats on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. Midtown better thank their lucky stars for the performance of McKenzie Godfrey, as she scored every single goal for her team.

Meanwhile, Decatur kept a clean sheet against North Atlanta on Tuesday. They blew past the Warriors 4-0. Considering Decatur have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Decatur and bumps their season record up to 12-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those two contests. As for Midtown, their record now sits at 11-4.

Midtown beat Decatur 3-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
