Kelly scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 26-18 to the Kennett Indians. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Kelly's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Kennett, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kelly will square off against rival New Madrid County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kennett is set to face off against their familiar foe East Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
