Baseball Recap: Northampton Comes Up Short

Northampton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 15-6 to the Nandua Warriors. The Yellowjackets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Lucas Kindt and Brock Leland did some serious damage despite the final result: Kindt went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Leland got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs. Another player making a difference was Trent Ferebee, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI.

Northampton's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Nandua, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Northampton is set to face off against their familiar foe Arcadia at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Nandua will take on rival Chincoteague at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
