Softball Recap: Victor's Run of Three Straight Victories Now Over

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, Victor finally came back down to earth on Monday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Webster Thomas Titans. The game marked the first time this season in which the Blue Devils were not able to get on the board.

Victor got a good showing from Norah Dailey, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Furthermore, Dailey didn't allow a single walk, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in April.

Victor moved to 8-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Webster Thomas, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-5.

Coming up, Victor will host Brighton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Webster Thomas, they will venture away from home to challenge Irondequoit at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
