Jeannette has gone 10-0 against Riverview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Jeannette Jayhawks will face off against the Riverview Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Jeannette is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 71.9 points per game this season.

Jeannette is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat California 84-45. Given the Jayhawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 161st, while the Trojans are ranked 662nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jeannette to victory, but perhaps none more so than Markus Mcgowan, who went 10 of 20 en route to 28 points. Xavier Odorisio was another key player, going 6 for 8 on his way to 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Jeannette was working as a unit and finished the game with 27 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Riverview, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Sunday. They snuck past Frazier with a 38-33 win on Tuesday.

Jeannette pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.7 points. As for Riverview, their record is now 7-9.

Everything came up roses for Jeannette against Riverview in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 66-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jeannette since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
