Baseball Recap: Randolph Comes Up Short

Randolph made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Spaulding, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Ghosts fell just short of the Crimson Tide by a score of 9-7 on Friday. The Ghosts have struggled against the Crimson Tide recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Jackson Bascom made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Dylan Delaney was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Spaulding, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Randolph will head out on the road to take on Lake Region at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Spaulding, they will take on Missisquoi Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
