Basketball Game Preview: South Elgin Storm vs. Elk Grove Grenadiers

The South Elgin Storm and the Elk Grove Grenadiers will round out the year against one another at at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for South Elgin and 14 for Elk Grove dating back to last season.

South Elgin saw some tournament action on Monday. They fell 44-33 to Prairie Ridge.

Meanwhile, Elk Grove took a blow against Johnsburg on Monday, falling 81-45.

South Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Elk Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.

South Elgin came up short against Elk Grove when the teams last played back in November of 2014, falling 82-71. Can South Elgin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
