Baseball Recap: Ragsdale's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

If Ragsdale was feeling good fresh off their 22-1 takedown of Northeast Guilford last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell 8-3 to the Grimsley Whirlies on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Whirlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 last Tuesday.

Dillon Bullard was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI and two doubles.

Ragsdale's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5. As for Grimsley, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Ragsdale didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-3 defeat against Northwest Guilford on the 1st. As for Grimsley, they have also already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Southwest Guilford on the 1st.
